Jockey Club Junior Baseball5 Commentators Training


The Baseball Association of Hong Kong, China (BAHKC) will host the 2024 WBSC Baseball5 World Cup in the coming 7th - 12th October, 2024 in Central, Hong Kong. The tournament has been recognised as an "M'' Mark event by the Major Sports Events Committee. With the support and donation from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust as our official community partner, the BAHKC will launch a series of activities under the "The Hong Kong Jockey Club Community Project Grant: The Hong Kong Jockey Club Baseball5 Community Programmes". It includes the "Jockey Club Junior Baseball5 Commentators Training", with the aim of cultivating more outstanding Baseball5 commentators who can provide clear and exciting game commentary, thereby enhancing the popularity of Baseball5. We would like to invite you to participate in this training.

The training will be held from 9th to 11th August, 2024. We have invited Mr. Kwok Tsz Lung, a seasoned sports media professional, and Mr. Tom Chen, a Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) anchor, to be the instructors for this training. They will share their valuable experiences accumulated over the years in the field of sports commentary. Upon completion of this training program, participants may have the opportunity to become our Baseball5 commentators, paving their way towards a professional commentator career.

• Participants must be at least 13 years old (Group 1: 13-17 years old; Group 2: 18 years old or above).
• Free of charge

Interested participants are requested to complete the registration form on the Google Form platform by 4th August, 2024 (Sunday) or earlier. Limited slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds to sign up immediately!
